Born and raised in Bremen, Germany, Andreas Stuermann moved to California in 1987 where he earned a B.S. degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of the Pacific in 1990.
He began his financial services career with John Hancock in the San Francisco Bay Area as their technical resource in sophisticated life insurance and benefit transactions. In 1998, he joined a leading member firm of the M Financial Group in New York City for which he managed design, implementation, and administration services of substantial life insurance, non-qualified benefit, and wealth transfer programs. In 2003, he founded Stuermann Consulting, Inc., an independent insurance and benefit advisory firm.
With over 25 years of industry experience Andreas Stuermann has been involved in the placement of over $3 billion of risk protection. He is a member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU) and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers (NAIFA) and an owner/member firm at Lion Street.
Andreas and his family reside in Summit, New Jersey. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, exercising and spending time with family and friends.

Danielle brings more than 11 years of experience in the insurance industry as an advanced underwriting specialist. She is actively involved in the client problem-solving and planning process from start to finish.
With an on-going track record of strong, established relationships with preferred carriers, Danielle has enabled timely and effective workflows throughout the entire case management process. These relationships, coupled with a solid understanding of the nuances involved in complex underwriting, provide a more transparent client experience with managed expectations.
Prior to joining Stuermann Consulting, Danielle attended the Stuart School of Business in New Jersey and worked as a legal assistant for a Trust and Estate Attorney.
Danielle and her son, Christian, reside in Toms River, New Jersey.
Michael Fontanini serves as Director of Advanced Sales with Lion Street, where he specializes in helping Lion Street Firms develop sophisticated life insurance solutions, encompassing both planning and product design, to meet the sophisticated needs of high-net-worth and business owner clients.
Prior to joining Lion Street, Michael was with Prudential as a result of the acquisition of The Hartford Life Division. While with Hartford/Prudential, his responsibilities included advanced sales training, advanced case design and life insurance product marketing.
Michael has had many years of experience in various areas of the insurance and financial services industry. His background includes serving as a financial advisor with New England Financial, as well as a life insurance wholesaler and home office employee with roles in marketing, advanced sales training and product development with Phoenix Life.
A graduate of the University of Iowa, Michael has earned the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations and is FINRA Series 7 and 26 registered. He is also a former member of the Advanced Sales Committee for LIMRA, which is comprised of advanced sales professionals from various LIMRA member carriers.
Michael currently resides in Austin, TX.
